Redundancy methods
In order to improve the redundancy of your timecode conversion, you can use multiple receivers, that will route into a single sender. In the example below, we have two receivers running, SMPTE and Art-Net, with approximately the same timing. We choose the SMPTE timecode stream as the preferred timecode source, and the Art-Net timecode stream as the alternative timecode source. Below, both sources are running and the sender will use the top routing, i.e. the SMPTE source for the timecode conversion.

When the SMPTE source stops running, the Art-Net source becomes dominant, and the sender will start using the Art-Net receiver for the timecode conversion.

In case you know the timecode stream should remain running for a while, you can enable the 'Infinity roll' function, by clicking the button with the infinity symbol. If one of the sources of the sender is running, the button will turn blue.

When the Art-Net source stops running, the sender will continue sending the timecode, and the 'Infinity roll' button will turn green.

The sender will keep running until the 'Infinity roll' is clicked and has turned grey.
